How to compare mobile grooming quotes
Use the same pet and package when comparing quotes. A full groom, a bath, an add-on and a recurring discount are different purchases, even when their headline prices look similar.

Start with the package
Write down the service you need before contacting anyone: a bath and brush-out, a haircut, or a smaller service such as nails. Ask what the package includes. Ear cleaning, nail grinding and a haircut can be included, optional or unavailable for a particular coat. Give each business the same request so a lower quote does not simply buy less work. Keep the written reply with the business name and date.
Match the price to the actual pet
Send the species, breed, weight, age and coat condition. A published starting price may apply only to the smallest weight band or a particular coat. Compare the business's quoted package with the appropriate menu entry, then ask what could change it. If matting or handling time cannot be assessed remotely, record that uncertainty instead of treating the initial figure as a final bill. The grooming planner helps prepare one consistent request.
Separate discounts from one-time prices
Read the condition attached to a low headline price. Tito's price page has distinct one-time and recurring tables. A recurring package requires a schedule, so first-time shoppers should confirm which table applies. Ask whether a discount continues if an appointment is delayed or canceled. A price that depends on repeated visits should be compared with another recurring offer, or clearly marked when comparing one-off quotes.
List the fees that sit outside the package
Ask about travel, extra grooming time, coat-condition charges, tax and payment fees. These can be stated separately from the package. The Grooming Box's estimate page separates add-ons and time charges from its estimate. An add-on amount is not the cost of a full groom. In the planner, leave an unconfirmed fee blank. Enter zero only when the business has said that fee will not apply.
Check the deposit and cancellation terms
A deposit may be credited toward the appointment total. Ask how it is applied, when it is refundable, and what happens if the operator needs to reschedule. Record the cancellation deadline and any no-show rule before paying. Becca's published menu includes a late-cancellation charge, illustrating why a booking policy belongs beside the price in a comparison. Use the current operator terms to resolve the actual booking.
Choose after confirming route and pet acceptance
A complete quote is still useful only if the groomer can serve the home and accept the pet. Confirm the address, parking arrangement, any size or age limit and the next available date. Retain the agreed package and expected total in the booking reply. Search the directory for candidates, open their cited sources, and send your prepared request directly to the businesses. The Atlas does not book the appointment or guarantee a quoted price.
